Frequently Asked Questions

Our putters are 100% CNC-milled in Canada from high-grade 304 Stainless Steel. Unlike mass-produced cast putters, our milling process ensures absolute precision, a perfectly flat face, and a solid, consistent feel that serious golfers demand.

We chose 304 Stainless Steel for its exceptional "soft yet crisp" feel at impact. It offers excellent corrosion resistance and durability, ensuring your putter maintains its premium look and performance for a lifetime.

Yes. Every Proto Golf putter is designed, CNC-machined, and hand-finished right here in Canada. We take pride in supporting local manufacturing and maintaining strict quality control over every head that leaves our shop.

Each Proto Golf putter comes with a Pistol 2.0 style grip. We are working on developing branded headcovers and are aiming to have them released late 2026.

We offer customization through the selection of finishing/shaft and hosel options depending on the model. Since we mill our putters in-house, we occasionally offer limited-run finishes.

Because each putter is finished and assembled to order, our standard lead time is 5-7 business days for pick up and 7-10 for shipping.

We ship across Canada.

We want you to love your Proto Golf putter. We offer a 5-day return window for putters in "like-new" condition. Please note that custom-engraved or modified putters are final sale.

While 304 stainless is highly resistant to rust, we recommend wiping your putter dry after use (especially in wet conditions) and keeping the headcover on when not in use to prevent "bag chatter" or dings.

Unlike carbon steel, 304 stainless does not require oiling to prevent rust. A simple wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap is all you need to keep it looking new.
